COLLAGE/MIXED MEDIA and ASSEMBLAGE: URBAN ARCHEOLOGY  

Using the instructors’ original approach, students will explore the endless possibilities of their creativity. This exciting and enthusiastic class will cover important material to help bring forth your personal artistic vision. In an atmosphere of experimentation, participants will be exposed to a myriad of collage techniques, such as altering various papers, and investigating unusual collage/assemblage materials. This will also include found and salvaged objects. By combining several media, students will learn unique paper-making methods, glazing, textured surfaces, 3-dimensional applications and painting, along with layering processes. Through personal critiques, Eydi will guide you to create works based on your life experiences, personal themes and goals. The finished artwork is an object that stands for and symbolizes the student and their personal experiences.  All levels welcome.
